Über Zpang

Vor 15 Jahren, als Zpang Gründer Jeremy Blaustein, für Konami in Tokio, Japan arbeitete, begann er Videospiele aus dem Japanischen ins Englische zu übersetzen. Zu dieser Zeit waren Übersetzungen eher eine nachträgliche Idee als eine seriöse Tätigkeit. Viele haben von der berühmten "All your base are belong to us"-Übersetzung gehört. Nun, es stimmt wirklich. Aber mit dem Zeitalter der CD-Rom begann die Änderung. Für Jeremy fing alles mit dem Sega CD Kulthit, Snatcher an, der die Messlatte für Humor und Synchronisierung legte. Einige Jahre später arbeitete Jeremy eng mit dem R&D zusammen, um Industriekracher wie Metal Gear Solid und Silent Hill zu erstellen. Seine Lorbeeren hat er sich als Schreiber und Voice Director verdient, bei denen er der Lokalisationsarbeit genauso verbunden war, wie die ursprünglichen Spielehersteller. Ein Erfolg jagte den nächsten und Zpang ist heute immer noch dabei und stellt sich dem Kampf im Namen aller Videospielfans weltweit.
