15 anni fa, mentre lavorava per Konami a Tokyo, Giappone, il fondatore di Zpang, Jeremy Blaustein, iniziò a tradurre video giochi in inglese. A quel tempo, la traduzione era più un ripensamento che un atto creativo serio. Molti di voi avranno sentito parlare della famosa traduzione “All your base are belong to us”. Beh, è tutto vero. Ma all'alba dell'era dei CD-ROM, qualcosa cambiò. Per Jeremy, tutto cominciò con il cult della serie CD di Sega, Snatcher, che fissò dei parametri di umorismo e doppiaggio del tutto innovativi. Qualche anno dopo, Jeremy instaurò una stretta collaborazione con R&D, partecipando alla creazione di una serie di successi che rivoluzionarono l'intera industria, come Metal Gear Solid e Silent Hill. Si guadagnò un'ottima reputazione come scrittore e direttore del doppiaggio, mostrando una dedizione al lavoro di localizzazione pari a quella degli autori dei giochi originali. È stato un continuo susseguirsi di successi e Zpang è ancora qui oggi, a combattere per la buona causa dei fan di video giochi in tutto il mondo.
